Your previous online behavior is dictating the news reports, friends’ updates, products and advertisements you receive. With algorithms are determining the content we’re exposed to, people are beginning to unintentionally “barricade” themselves from new experiences and information that don’t fit the pattern of what they’ve already liked and experienced.
